  • We are open to all University of Maryland - College Park students regardless of skill-level. We have three practices a week that allow you to meet and hit with other University of Maryland tennis players in a fun and casual atmosphere.

  • Those who wish to play at the competitive level, can play in home/away dual matches and tournaments based on attendance and predicted difficulty of match.

How to Join Maryland Club Tennis:

  • To join our email list, send us an email at marylandclubtennis@gmail.com

  • Register on the IMLeagues - Club Tennis website. On the site, choose the University of Maryland, sign in with your directory ID and password, click on register, then at the top left please make sure "clubs" is selected instead of "intramural sports". After that, choose club tennis then select "join team". That will take you to a 30 second video and a short quiz about concussions (only a few MCQ's), then sign the online waiver, enter your UID, fill out the forms and you're good to go!

Outdoor & Indoor Practice Schedule and Facilities:

  • Outdoor Practices occur between 8:00-10:00PM at the new on-campus courts located behind the Eppley Recreation Center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting. If an outdoor practice is cancelled, an announcement will be sent out via email.

  • Here is a Google Maps link of the courts’ accurate location: https://goo.gl/maps/GWReLKobFgM2. If you are driving to practice, avoid parking in lot 2 or SS since they require a permit at all times. You can park in lot YC which is right next to the Center for Young Children and is free for everyone after 6pm (Look for the sign that says YC).

  • Indoor Practices occur after Thanksgiving Break until Spring Break and the location is always JTCC. Check our Calendar for practice times and dates. Indoor practices will continue until March. Thereafter, all practices will be outdoors, as weather permits. JTCC is located on 5200 Paint Branch Parkway. Take the UM Shuttle 104 to the College Park Metro station, then walk across the street and up the road to the Tennis Center. The bubbles are visible from the metro center.

  • Spring 2022: Indoor practices begin Monday Jan. 31
