Chaplin Cherie Lynne Anderson was born May 11, 1951 to Sidney and Jeanette Cotterill, both of whom preceded Cherie in death. Cherie died on July 23, 2015 in Everett, WA. Cherie married Paul Edwin Anderson (Granite Falls, WA), and they had sons Alex and Ian. Along with them, Cherie is survived by her sisters Diana (Spokane, WA) and Susan (Arlington, WA).
Cherie had a huge heart for helping the hurting. She graduated from Covenant Bible College in 1970 and Northwest University in 1972 (Behavioral Science). She was a life-long counselor, helping at-risk teens and runaways, and those recovering from sexual and emotional scars.
Cherie was a part of the Martha Lake Covenant Church family in Lynnwood throughout her life, blossoming as a teen in the youth ministry, getting married in the church, serving as a youth counselor for 15 years, and in her last years, leading a book club.
