Warren Buckleitner, Cornet. Warren has played “trad” style music since high school after earning a scholarship to the Interlochen Arts Academy. He started leading Marshalls Band in 2014. He makes annual trips to New Orleans to learn from Doyle Cooper, Mike Davis, Dan Levinson and others. He’s a member of the Hunterdon Symphony and the Whitehouse Wind Symphony, and teaches at TCNJ. From Flemington NJ.
David Dilzel, Clarinet started listening to and playing jazz in high school when he got a hold of his father’s record collection. He has continued to play in a variety of big bands and small groups. More recently, he served as a board member of the New Jersey Jazz Society and was a tour guide for several years at the Louis Armstrong House Museum. He retired after 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He lives in Westfield, NJ.
George Dougherty, Trombone and Cornet, is a long time member of Marshall’s Band. While he mostly plays trombone, he's been known to pick up a cornet. Besides his musical abilities, George is a lawyer at Katz & Dougherty in Mercerville, NJ
Cliff Hochberg, Drums. With 60 years behind the kit, Cliff is known for his work from jazz to Latin and even Brazilian inspired rhythms. He enjoys playing vintage-style percussion, including his custom-made engraved Black Beauty snare and his authentic 1920s Bock-a-da-bock hand cymbals. These days, he’s loving playing the rhythms and style of 1920s–1930s traditional New Orleans jazz drummers. A former chiropractor, Cliff is also a Certified Health Coach, helping people virtually all across the country. He lives in West Windsor, NJ.
Tom Spain, Tuba is widely recognized for his work in traditional jazz and brass band settings. He is known as "tuba man Tom Spain" and has performed in many groups and jazz jam sessions. Tom is an original member of the 1980’s version of Marshall’s Band. Fun fact: Tom won an Emmy Award for producing documentary films. He’s from Stockton NJ.
Dottie Westgate, Piano/vocals is a first call performer both in New Orleans and New Jersey, specializing in jazz, swing, and pop particularly from the 1920s through the 1970s. She was drawn to early jazz as a young teen, when her mother married a Dixieland/Songbook fan with a tantalizing record collection. She frequently performs in local music series. She’s the founding member of the Tigertown Dixieland Band and a graduate of Westminster Choir College. Fun fact – Dotty is an avid photographer.
Ed Jankiewicz, Banjo, Guitar and Vocals, is a versatile performer known around town as the human jukebox. Besides his many solo gigs, Ed is part of a Simon and Garfunkel tribute duo and plays third bass in the Hunterdon Symphony. Flemington, NJ.

Peter Reichlan, Trombone. Pete Reichlin is a multifaceted figure in the Mid-Atlantic jazz scene. He often joins top-tier ensembles for jam sessions and concerts, such as his October 2022 appearance with pianist Rossano Sportiello and trumpeter Danny Tobias. He specializes in early jazz and Ellington classics, frequently performing at regional jazz festivals and societies. Pete is a renowned expert in piano maintenance and restoration.
