Marlborough Rovers, based in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, was founded in 1978 by Maurice Elliott.  The club has since grown into one of the largest football clubs in Leicestershire

Marlborough Rovers Football Club is a registered charity.  It has run successfully for over 45 years  not for the sake of profit but for the development of young players and enjoyment of the game.  This picture says it all!

With fantastic value player subscriptions, qualified coaches who do it because they love it, to a structured and proactive committee that pull it all together and fantastic supporters... what more could you want from a club?

“We have experience of quite a few managers/coaches over the years with his elder brother and the variety of sports teams he's been involved with and I can firmly say you guys are outstanding, a massive thank you for all the hours of effort and patience and encouragement you give the boys. Your fantastic organisation skills and of course the brilliant coaching, he is really improving and really enjoying it.”

“…We think you are doing an amazing job, and your dedication is incredible. You are so supportive of the boys and we really appreciate being part of the MRFC Team.  I hope you're both still coaches when he plays for U18's and onwards. He loves his football, and you provide a really nurturing environment for him to do so.”

"...we've been associated with a couple of junior football clubs and this is by far the best place for kids football in Ashby and surrounding areas..."
