I am a faculty member at The Citadel in Charleston, SC and Adjunct Law Professor at the Charleston School of Law. I teach about how institutions operate, election law, and ways to analyze voting patterns and public preferences through survey research.
I am the Book Reviews Editor for Public Opinion Quarterly; co-host The Citadel Symposium on Southern Politics, and provide geographic analysis as a Climate Fellow with the Lt. Col. James B. Near, Jr., USAF, ’77 Center for Climate Studies.
Prior to teaching at The Citadel, I was an associate professor at The University of Texas at Tyler, APSA Congressional Fellow in the U.S. Senate, and visiting assistant professor at Bates College.
