Black Walnut Dye

I then filled the crock pot with water and walnut and it it run on high for 2 days, I emptied the water and then refilled it and again let it run on high for 2 days.

I then boiled the dye down to remove excess water and put it in a jug.

July 2017 we finally used the black walnut dye on a work bench.

We then covered the walnut dye with linseed oil to protect the wood more.
