Litter Info
This is a repeat breeding between our European import male Graf and our second generation female Abby. We expect a wealth of natural abilities early on with this litter. Puppies will make solid NAVHDA prospects as well as excellent family companions.
Abby is a female we kept from our German DK, Kimber vom Riverwoods bred to a German import, Clou vom Holtvogt. She is an incredibly calm shorthair at home, very affectionate, but purposely driven in the field. Points, backs, retrieves, swims. She is a 55 pound solid liver female with incredible genetics and a loving disposition.
Graf is a young male that we imported from a Romanian DK breeder, Catrinel Pauna. Ms. Pauna handled German dogs from the famous Hege Haus kennel and judges conformation of many breeds including the German shorthair across the globe, but most notably including the DK Club in Germany. Graf is a 65 pound tall & lean hunter with excellent prey drive, staunch point, love for water, hard on fur, and excellent natural retrieve. He is a calm male that interacts kindly with my young children. Past puppies from these parents, any many more from Graf paired with various females, are earning NAVHDA NA prizes and showing talent at an early age.
Pups will have tails docked, first round of vaccinations, exposure to loud sounds, and will come with full NAVHDA registration. Dew claws will NOT be removed, in light of recent research on the topic.
All pups are $1500 each, regardless of gender or color. A $250 deposit secures a puppy of a chosen gender. Puppies are picked up at 8 weeks old, in order of deposits, no exceptions.
We reserve the right to keep any pup for any reason, and are planning to keep a female from this litter.
