Quick Respawn, Quick Super Jump, Stealth Jump

All of these abilities are useful in Tower Control, where it's easy to die a lot. When you die, you want to get back into the action quickly, and you don't want to get killed immediately after super jumping. So, it makes sense to compare Quick Respawn and Quick Super Jump, and to see what effect Stealth Jump has on the latter.

Quick Respawn

With various combinations of primary and secondary Quick Respawn abilities equipped, I measured the number of frames it took to respawn after being killed. I found that Quick Respawn only affects the amount of time it takes for the camera to return to the spawn point; after that, it always takes 119 frames to gain control. In the results, I don't include those 119 frames. Another thing I found is that the amount of time it takes to respawn varies, even in a single match. I saw differences as large as 9 frames. My results indicate the average number of frames across multiple trials, but keep in mind that the exact number may differ each time.

For the most part, the returns diminish as you stack the abilities. There are some odd cases where the returns increase, but that may be due to the aforementioned fluctuations in respawn time.

Quick Super Jump

For this ability, I measured the number of frames it took to super jump. I found that the time is completely unaffected by the distance of the jump; jumping all the way across the stage takes the same amount of time as jumping to your current location.

The returns diminish as you stack the abilities.

Stealth Jump

I repeated the Quick Super Jump tests with Stealth Jump equipped.

For almost all the test cases, Stealth Jump makes the super jump 50 frames slower.

Summary

Quick Respawn makes a much bigger difference than Quick Super Jump. Personally, I rarely super jump except right after respawning, so Quick Respawn is the clear winner. Stealth Jump makes your super jumps 50 frames slower, but I think it's worth it in Tower Control, where I often jump to dangerous areas.
