24 Hours of Klowns
The 24 hours of Klowns was conceived as a painting experiment in which one Klown of the Apocalypse logo would be painted every hour continuously for twenty four hours. I would also log my observations about the process throughout the day long duration and this would be included in the insallation. Somewhere after the first two paintings were completed, I decided to also record my thoughts on Twitter, which would be more snippets of things and not the diatribe I was recording on paper. I found the traditional ‘diary’ process on paper to be more formalized and the electronic posting to be much more informal, so, between the two, it captures where I was mentally and physically throughout the painting experiment.

The cats are proving to be the biggest nuisance to this project. Wanting to jump up on the wet paintings and pissing on the dropcloths! Ugh! 3:45 PM Apr 3rd

Did a load of dishes to free up the sink to wash brushes and still have 7 minutes to spare. 6:54 PM Apr 3rd
Pounding them out at about 1/2 an hour each. Thats even with screwing aound with each one to make them slightly different. 7:38 PM Apr 3rd
