Who We Are:
The club was founded in August of 2011 by four very enthusiastic fans of LEGO® bricks. Since then we have grown to 35 members and have had a lot of fun getting to know everyone and sharing our particular interests and builds.
We are adult fans of LEGO® (AFOLs) that have come together because of their passion for “the brick.” Members are from various locations in Manitoba such as Morden, Winkler, Altona, Portage la Prairie and Winnipeg.
Manitoba LUG is one of many LUGs (LEGO® User Groups) that exist around the world.
Manitoba LUG is not sponsored, endorsed, or authorized by The LEGO Group.
What We Do:
We have regular scheduled meetings every two months where members are encouraged to bring creations they have finished or are working on, and to share ideas about their projects past, present and future.
As a group we also participate regularly in train, toy and hobby shows and the occasional display at other venues.
How to Join:
MBLUG is a club for adult fans of LEGO®. Anyone 18 and older can join with an interest in LEGO® bricks, regardless of theme, building skill or size of collection.
All functions and duties are entirely volunteer based. An annual membership fee is due on January 1st.
MBLUG was established August 13, 2011.
