The beach offers a peaceful, unspoiled stretch of sand with warm, inviting waters, perfect for swimming or leisurely strolls. Keep an eye out during your walks, as you may occasionally spot sea turtles nesting along the shore. Head to the communal beach braai and entertainment area to grill fresh fish, prawns, or meat while enjoying the stunning surroundings. Afterward, relax with a drink in hand while watching the ocean—whales can often be seen in season, and dolphins are a frequent sight just off the coast.
The beach is located approximately 2.5 km or a 10-minute drive away, or just 1.5 km if you prefer a scenic walk along the shore. This stunning natural coral bay offers protected areas perfect for a relaxing day with the whole family. It’s an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling, with crystal-clear waters home to an abundance of reef fish, especially around the rocky outcrops. The water is typically 1 to 2 meters deep at low tide, making it perfect for exploring. Whether you’re looking to relax and sunbathe, enjoy a leisurely swim, or try your hand at surfing, this beach has something for everyone.
The White Pearl Resort is an exclusive 5 star resort just north of Vila do Monte... only a 2.5Km walk along the beach. This resort does not normally allow throughfare without prior arrangements being made. They may allow a very limited number of day guests into the resort per day (at a fee).
This resort provides SCUBA trips to the near reefs, but give preference to their normal guests. You may also be able to arrange for lunch / dinner at this resort at prior arrangement..
Take a walk up the coast and see this beautiful resort from the beach and have a swim in the bay. All beaches in Mozambique are public beaches. See http://www.whitepearlresorts.com/
