Special Heart Quilts

Every "Special Heart Quilt" that I make has a special meaning to me.....

My youngest son ("Baby Matthew") was born with a Congenital Heart Defect and has had 2 heart surgeries, the first of which he underwent before he was 24 hours old and the second at 5 days old. He has shown such strength, courage and determination! With everyday that goes by, his positive attitude and true contentment has given inspiration to us all. He is proof that miracles can happen if you just believe!

I think of "Baby Matthew" every time I design and create a "Special Heart Quilt".... from my heart to yours, I hope you enjoy them and the special meaning they represent!

They are Rag Style and measure approximately 36" x 42". A matching throw pillow can be added to make it a set!

A portion of the proceeds from every "Special Heart Quilt" are donated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, in celebration of Matthew McGugan and the rest of the McGugan 5 (Jeremy, Ryan, Nicholas and Zachary)
