About Me

My name is Michelle McGugan. 

It was about 30 years ago that I made my first quilt....  and it was when I came across this quilt,

in my parents cedar chest, that I decided to start quilting again! 

So voila, the beginning of MAM CREATIONS!

I am a  mom of 5 amazing boys who keep me busy and on my toes...

Jeremy (22), Ryan (20), Nicholas (18), Zachary (17) and Matthew (15)  

I am glad that I am able to turn my hobby into a business, so that I can stay at home with my boys!

The MAM in "MAM CREATIONS" are my initials..... Michelle Aline McGugan!

I love designing and creating quilts so much that I decided to share them with others.  It's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun!  

I am pleased to say that a portion of the proceeds, from every item sold, are donated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, in celebration of Matthew McGugan and the rest of the McGugan 5 (Jeremy, Ryan, Nicholas and Zachary)

It was when my youngest son, Matthew, was born October 28, 2008 with a congenital heart defect that my life changed for ever!  I am truly blessed.  To read his story.... please click the drop down link at the top left!
