I had the good fortune of working for my master's degree (M.Tech.) under the supervision of Prof. P.C. Dumir and Prof. G.P. Dube, IIT Delhi. Prof. Dumir gave me the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant (T.A.) in the tutorial classes of Applied Mechanics for B.Tech students. He introduced me to the advanced mechanics of solids, which is being used, till now, in my research and teaching classes. My good fortune also continued during my doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Srikanth Vedantam and Prof. Lu Li at the National University of Singapore. Besides Ph.D. guidance, Prof. Vedantam taught me an advanced level of continuum mechanics and its application in various fields of engineering. I have also closely worked with Prof. Prakash Thamburaja and Prof. Manoj Gupta at the National University of Singapore.
Thanks to all of them for their help and support which contributed towards building my academic and professional career.
