My PhD research (Department of Mathematics, University of Queensland, 1973) was in the area of mathematical modeling of physiological fluid flows. Subsequently my research career developed broadly in the computational and mathematical modelling of fluid dynamics, moving briefly into porous media flows before concentrating on industrial fluid flows, especially particle-laden flows and two-fluid flows with interfaces. Over time my focus changed to fluid flows at the particle/drop/bubble scale and in recent years has been directed to electrokinetic fluid flows in micro- and nano-channels. But in the meantime, I also briefly returned to my roots with some modelling of biological and physiological fluid flows.

The submenus list my research publications in the open literature. If you cannot access a paper using the link shown, then the paper is not open access. The links are there mainly for my own convenience. See also my ORCID profile and Google Scholar
