Dr. Majdi Owda, Ph.D., PGC AP, MSc, BSc (Hons), UK-FHEA.

Majdi Owda is an Associate Professor in Computer Science in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the Arab American University - Palestine. He gained a BSc in Computer Science from the Arab American University in 2004, and an MSc by research in Computer Science with distinction from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2006 and a Ph.D in Computer Science and PGC AP in 2011.

His main research interests are in Data Mining, Text Mining, Data Driven Information Security, Cyber Security, Computing Forensics, Natural Language Interfaces to Relational Databases, Conversational Informatics, Conversational Agents, Knowledge Trees, Knowledge Engineering, Information Extraction, Financial Stock Irregularities Detection, Financial Cyber Crimes and AI techniques for crime prevention.
