Nature Inspired Story Telling and Outdoor Learning for Shared Education
4 Sessions – 30th March, 7th & 26th April and 5th May
The workshops will introduce shared education leaders to a series of new resources and activities that have been primed for classroom use and are already being used within shared education partnerships.
Using 'The Magic Harp' by Declan carville as a stimulus, our facilitators will examine storytelling within the context of outdoor spaces ('A trip to somewhere exciting') and how we can use these spaces to engage and infuse cross-curricular shared learning. Participants will have the opportunity to work virtually with the author Declan Carville to explore the themes embedded within his books and to relate these themes to our children and young people through a range of collaborative activities.
