Travel Information

If you are arriving by plane to Lebanon, you will be landing at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport. The airport website contains useful information about airlines and flight departures and arrivals. Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport is approximately 5km south of Beirut city center and roughly 10km from AUB.
Airport transfer by taxi
Taxi services are available at the airport, where certified taxis are parked next to the terminal at the arrival gate and have an airport logo on the side. These taxis are regulated by airport authorities, and they share a unified official rate. Regular taxis are also available and their charges are subject to bargaining. You should expect to pay around 20 USD to get to AUB. Before you enter the taxi, always make sure that you have clearly negotiated an agreed-upon price, and whether it was quoted to you in US dollars or Lebanese liras.
