About Us

The Friends of the Macon County Public Library System is a non-profit 501 ( C ) 3, volunteer organization that works to further the goals of the Library through fundraising and advocacy of literacy. Working with the Library Director and staff, the Friends support the facilities and services of the library, foster fellowship among persons interested in books, and help the library enrich cultural opportunities in the community.
