About Me

I am a native English speaker with a doctoral degree in physical anthropology. My professional training included varied courses in anthropology, archaeology, biology, and evolution, as well as considerable archaeological and paleoanthropological field experience (see curriculum vitae page). As a result, I have broad knowledge and expertise in the biological and social sciences.

I have published a number of research articles in international journals dedicated to anthropology and the forensic sciences (see publications page) and I have peer-reviewed article submissions for a number of academic journals (see curriculum vitae page). Therefore, I am familiar with the standards and expectations of reviewers.

In addition to my anthropological research, I have worked for six years as an English instructor at language schools in Spain and the UK.

I have provided proofreading and editing services for manuscripts which were submitted to a number of international scientific journals, including: PLoS ONE, Global Change Biology, Journal of Ecology, Journal of Mammalogy, Journal of Animal Ecology, Conservation Letters, Ecology, Biological Invasions, Biodiversity and Conservation, Journal of Biogeography, and Conservation Genetics.
