Recruitment Eligibility Requirements

• GPA: 3.2 cumulative

• Full-time student (12+ credits)

• Plan on attending an MD/DO school

• Attend the informational session

• Attend the tabling event

• Fill out your application by 6:00 PM EST on Tuesday, September 24th.

• Attend a 15-minute formal interview

• Attend Bid Day on Monday, October. 7th at 6PM EST.

• An interview is required for every potential new member.

• Students will be required to pay dues upon Initiation.

Additional Information 

• Enrolled in pre-medical courses (required for medical school acceptance) at UMass Boston and actively seeking to prepare himself/herself for medical school

• Able to express character qualities and ethical principles of a Phi Delta Epsilon physician

• Able to attend a minimum of 75% of Chapter meetings and events held throughout the semester

• Exhibits the 5 Qualities of Phi Delta Epsilon Member: Leadership, Integrity, Talented, Passionate, and Dedicated.
