Please read the requirements below before applying. More information about our recruitment week events will be upload soon. The first two nights are mandatory and business casual outfits are required. The third night is invite only and is an informal event. We look forward to see you there!
Recruitment Eligibility Requirements
GPA: 3.2 cumulative
Full-time student (12+ credits)
Plan on attending an MD/DO school
Attend the informational session
Attend the tabling event
Fill out your application on time
Attend a 15-minute formal interview
Attend Bid Day
An interview is required for every potential new member.
Students will be required to pay dues upon Initiation.
Additional Information
• Enrolled in pre-medical courses (required for medical school acceptance) at UMass Boston and actively seeking to prepare himself/herself for medical school
• Able to express character qualities and ethical principles of a Phi Delta Epsilon physician
• Able to attend a minimum of 75% of Chapter meetings and events held throughout the semester
• Exhibits the 5 Qualities of Phi Delta Epsilon Member: Leadership, Integrity, Talented, Passionate, and Dedicated.
