In Tunisia, scientific collaboration actively promotes societal well-being. Supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme, TWISE Night aims to bridge research and public awareness. Spearheaded by ARSII and REACT associations, alongside four universities (Univ-Sousse, Univ-Sfax, Univ-Carthage & Univ-Monastir), this initiative champions inclusivity and environmental sustainability. Scheduled first in Sousse, then Tunis, it extends beyond events, with pre-events and Researchers at Schools sessions amplifying its impact across regions. TWISE Night demonstrates the synergy between science and society, promoting awareness of initiatives that enhance societal well-being and inclusivity, while contributing to environmental sustainability.
May 2024: International Visitor Leadership Program - U.S Department of State
The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is the U.S. Department of State's premier professional exchange program. There is no application for IVLP. Participants are nominated and selected by the staff at U.S. Embassies around the world. Through short-term visits to the United State, current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields experience this country firsthand and cultivate lasting relationships with their American counterparts. Professional meetings reflect the participants' professional interests and support the foreign policy goals of United States. This edition entitled "Science and Technology Entrepreneurship" was specifically prepared for professionals from 17 countries and included meetings in Washington, Akron, Austin & Denver.
