I completed my PhD at St John's College at the University of Cambridge. I then stayed on in Cambridge first as a Research Fellow at Magdalene College and then as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Philosophy. At Cambridge, I also directed studies for Magdalene, as well as the Colleges of Gonville and Caius and Fitzwilliam.
