Postdoctoral Researchers
While I am not currently seeking postdocs, interested applicants should feel free to contact me about pursing funding for postdoctoral research in the lab.
Graduate Students
I am actively recruiting graduate students for Fall 2024. Interested applicants should send a CV/Resume and a brief description of your research interests. Also, fill out this survey provided by our department to receive recruitment information and be invited to our recruitments events.
Graduate Students should apply through Biological Sciences. Most students are supported on Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTAs). However, I have funding for Graduate Research Assistantships (GRAs) for up to two students for four years, starting in their second year.
Deadline is typically February 1st for Fall admission. Please note our department no longer requires the GRE.

Undergraduate Students
Now accepting undergraduate students for independent research (BIOL 4980 Credit). Students should anticipate working in the lab for 1 semester prior to enrolling in research credit.
If interested please send a Resume (including GPA) and a brief description of your career & research interests.
Students should have had Genetics (BIOL 3000), a statistics course, and preferably Evolution and Systematics (BIOL 3030).
Outstanding students without these courses should still contact me as you may work in the lab while taking these courses and later work towards an independent project.
