About Me: Teaching Chess for over 20 years now

Initially teaching kids in 1st-2nd Grade, then a chess club with kids from 1st - 8th Grade.

Jean Troendle was my motivator. We did LIVE CHESS in costume on a hand woven 24 foot board

in the gym. The entire school shows up -- we do it every year. Harry Potter instigated my inspiration

after his 1st move in 2001. Jean and I presented the game at Lake Side Mall -- Awesome.

Chess is a magical tool for kids and adults to strengthen conflict and focus.
