On 8/27/2015... my Aunt Colleen and I set out on a journey. From our home near Boston, MA, we took on the 2-hour journey to Springfield, MA, to see New England's only 3-Stage Chuck E. Cheese show! And boy was it a sight to see. Unbeknownst to me at the time, this stage had just recently undergone an extensive restoration. I do not know how we conned my Dad into this one...but while my Dad and brother were off at the basketball hall of fame...Colleen and I were enjoying some CEC pizza and watching robots! Luckily, my aunt also brought her professional camera to document this fun trip for us. Enjoy
Photos of me, age 12, posing with the 3-Stage characters. Decided not to share the Pasqually ones because nobody cares about him! (and those ones were a little blurry lol)
FEET! My aunt thought it would be a great idea to take photos of the shoes they were wearing at the time. Or... no shoes at all, in Chuck's case...!
Miss Helen Henny up first! One thing I have to admit, it was SO surreal to see a figure as lively and animated as she was. I remember being fascinated how she would throw her arms in the air and close her eyes during "Fun for All". Was certainly a shell shock for someone like me who only grew up seeing cyberamic figures. (Way less advanced.)
CEC Chuck E. Cheese! From what I remember, this guy was pretty tall! He was the only character on the stage I wasn't taller than at the time. Interestingly enough, he had on some weird eyelids that I was not a fan of. Definitely should've been painted grey. Still a beautiful character in great condition! Sadly, at the time we visited, "Most Epic Mouse" was not yet programmed. Would've been a great show to see on this character!
Up next, Mr. Munch! This keyboard for him was in beautiful shape and looks completly rebuilt with a sleek black paint job. He worked great! My only critique is the dang unmatching eyelids! Not the biggest fan.
The hound who knows how to 'get down', Jasper T. Jowls! Nothing notable with him... just beautiful close-up shots! Very similar to the cheese guitar I own currently.
NOBODY CARES ABOUT PASQUALLY! Just kidding. YES he was in beautiful shape...HOWEVER, his drums were set up completely wrong! This always irked me every time I visited Springfield. I especially love the shots where you can see the blush detail on the face.
Misc photos... and we made it through! Hope you all enjoyed my trip down memory lane.
