Hello and welcome to my page. If you didn't know me already, my name is Patrick. And if you did know me, you'd know I absolutely hate introductions. Ok, so let me catch you up to speed. I am currently 22 years old and have been a die-hard fan of Chuck E. Cheese and the Rock-afire Explosion since the age of 10. It quite literally has taken over my life... my boyfriend Jackie's life... my mom's life... my friends' lives... and even my entire house.
Now, with that being said, I have met SO many life-long friends along the way and even made quite a few enemies too..! I'm sure you'll get to hear all about it the more time you spend here in this community.
Everyone asks me... why Chuck E. Cheese? Why not cars...trading cards...drugs? It's because of the dying phenomenon and the culture in general of animatronics. Over the course of the last few years, it has become our duty to preserve the history of Chuck E. Cheese and other iconic brands, as they have changed to something that is almost completely unrecognizable as corporate minimalism becomes the new norm. While they may have transformed the brand for kids today, there will soon be no way to show the kids of tomorrow what once was. And that's where we come in.
We have done everything we can to preserve the rich history of animatronic brands. It really is a way of life and how it brings everyone together. The old saying "One man's trash is another man's treasure" is put to the test in this community more than anywhere else. I mean, really, if you were not intrigued about all this in the same way that I am... you wouldn't be reading my stupid "about me" page.
So if I can leave you with one snippet of my mind here, it's that for every bullet we took, for every long drive we made, for every hour we worked, and for every goddamn scalped price we paid...
It was all for the preservation of the phenomenon that brought us all together in the first place...
And that is quite the truth to live. :)
