Essays

This series of essays consists of volumes on education, history and political thinking.  They consist of essays that I have drafted over the past fifty years on a variety of subjects that have been tinkered with, substantially redrafted and, in some cases specifically written for these books. This has occurred only where I felt that leaving particular issues out of my thinking would have given a somewhat slanted view.  Although I have plans for other writing projects once these books are out of the way, I am now at an age when that cannot be said with absolute certainty.  In that respect, these books represent something of a ‘vanity project’, getting my essays out there before….
