The coastal fishing boat LN49 "Stjernen" was built by the well-known boat builder, Jens Chr. Andersen, in 1924 in Nr. Vorupør.
LN 49 "Stjernen" represents a type of boat that was previously characteristic of many of the coastal landing sites on the west coast. Today, there are only 4 coastal landing sites left on the west coast: Lild Strand (around 4 boats) Thorup Strand (around 19 boats) Nr. Vorupør (around 4 boats), and Løkken (around 3 boats)
Local fisherman Ivar Larsen wanted to sell the boat around the turn of the millennium, but was refused scrapping support. After selling the tonnage, the boat guild bought the boat in 2004, which underwent an extensive renovation at a nearby shipyard.
Since the first certificate of nationality has been lost, it is not known for whom it was built, but Ivar Larsen's uncle, Anders Larsen in Løkken, bought it and had it until the autumn of 1946. It was sold to the Skaw and was fishing from there until May 1948, when Ivar Larsen's father, Charles P. Larsen, Løkken, bought it back. In March 1972, Ivar Larsen bought the boat from his father and had it until the sale to the boat guild in 2004.
RESCUE IN THE NORTH SEA:

Report from a sea inquiry held in Hjørring 1936:
One of the other local boats, "Ida 2" was on a fishing voyage from a fishing spot in the North Sea to Løkken and sunk in January 1936 in the North Sea; unfortunately 1 dead.
At approximately 7 pm, when Ida 2 under a strong gale was approx. 12 nautic miles form Løkken, a heavy sea broke over the vessel, causing the wheelhouse and mast to be knocked overboard, and the hatch was crushed. Furthermore, 2 men of the vessel's crew, which consisted of 3 men, were washed overboard. A nearby vessel, LN 49 “Stjernen” of Løkken, had noticed the accident, and it managed to rescue one of the fishermen washed overboard and the man on Ida 2, while fisherman Christian Madsen of Løkken unfortunately drowned. Ida 2 sank shortly after the rescue operation

Das Küstenfischerboot LN49 „Stjernen“ wurde 1924 vom bekannten Bootsbauer Jens Chr. Andersen in Nr. Vorupør gebaut.
LN 49 „Stjernen“ repräsentiert einen Bootstyp, der früher für viele Küstenlandungsplätze an der Westküste charakteristisch war. Heute gibt es an der Westküste nur noch vier Küstenlandungsplätze: Lild Strand (ca. 4 Boote), Thorup Strand (ca. 19 Boote), Nr. Vorupør (ca. 4 Boote) und Løkken (ca. 3 Boote).
Der örtliche Fischer Ivar Larsen wollte das Boot um die Jahrtausendwende verkaufen, erhielt jedoch keine Abwrackhilfe. Nach dem Verkauf der Tonnage kaufte die Bootsgilde das Boot 2004 und ließ es in einer nahegelegenen Werft umfassend restaurieren. Da die erste Staatsangehörigkeitsbescheinigung verloren gegangen ist, ist nicht bekannt, für wen das Boot gebaut wurde.
Ivar Larsens Onkel, Anders Larsen aus Løkken, kaufte es und besaß es bis Herbst 1946. Es wurde an die Skaw verkauft und fischte dort bis Mai 1948, als Ivar Larsens Vater, Charles P. Larsen aus Løkken, es zurückkaufte. Im März 1972 kaufte Ivar Larsen das Boot von seinem Vater und besaß es bis zum Verkauf an die Bootsgilde im Jahr 2004.
RETTUNG IN DER NORDSEE:
Anders Dommerby, Mitglied der Bootsgilde, berichtet über den Einsatz der LN 49 als Rettungsboot im Jahr 1936. Bericht einer Seenotuntersuchung in Hjørring 1936: Eines der anderen Boote aus der Gegend, die „Ida 2“, befand sich auf einer Fischereireise von einem Angelplatz in der Nordsee nach Løkken und sank im Januar 1936 in der Nordsee; ein Todesopfer. Gegen 19 Uhr, als sich die Ida 2 bei starkem Sturm etwa 12 Seemeilen von Løkken entfernt befand, brach eine schwere See über das Schiff herein, wodurch das Steuerhaus und der Mast über Bord geworfen und die Luke zerdrückt wurden. Außerdem wurden zwei Mann der dreiköpfigen Besatzung über Bord gespült. Ein nahegelegenes Schiff, die LN 49 „Stjernen“ aus Løkken, hatte den Unfall bemerkt und konnte einen der über Bord gespülten Fischer und den Mann auf der Ida 2 retten, während der Fischer Christian Madsen aus Løkken leider ertrank. Die Ida 2 sank kurz nach der Rettungsaktion.
