This unit will focus on primarily the following learning objectives:

1.) Identify and work with points, lines, segments and rays.
2.) Measure and classify angles.
3.) Use the relationship between special pairs of angles.
4.) Classify triangles by their angles and their sides.
5.) Identify regular polygons and classify quadrilaterals.
6.) Identify congruent and similar figures.
7.) Solve problems involving perimeter and areas of rectangles.
8.) Solve problems involving perimeter and areas of parallelograms, triangles and complex figures.
9.) Identify the parts of a circle and to find the radius, diameter, and circumference.
10.) Find the area of a circle.
