• • Qualifies you to play in all regular league events (Tournament of Chamions, LJO Invitational is by qualification see event description, LJO Match Play is limited to 16 see event description) leading up to the League Championship.

  • Unless other stated you pay your greens fees and a $10 Event Fee. Event fee is different for some events, check event descriptions for more info.

  • All events count in point standings. The Top 3 on the points list and the Winner of the LJO Championship (If winner of LJO Championship is in top 3 then #4 on points list advances) qualify for the League Championship Final Four. The Final Four Play 18 Hole Round for Championship and top 4 positions in the league,

Guest Golfer

• Event fee for guest golfers is $10 if they want to be included in both low net and skins. Unless otherwise stated.

• Since league dues go to the low net and contest payouts, guest golfers will receive low net payouts with league contribution subtracted. Skins and contest they will recieve full payout.

• Since no league dues go to the skins game, a guest golfer gets 100% of any skins money won.

***** Member must notify league of guest golfer a week in advance to secure tee time. Otherwise guest may only play if there is an available tee time.

LJO Golf League

The LJO Golf League is a individual scored golf league based in Jackson, Michigan. This league began in 2009. The goal is to provide a fun and competetive golf league for friends. The league schedule consist of 18 events beginning in January and ending in September. Events will be played at various courses in the south central Michigan. The leagues Rule #1 is have FUN! We will also have some non point events throughout the year.

History

This league is an offshoot of the Little John Open, a scramble started in 1997 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan and honor the memories of John (Little John) Wilkins II and Timmy Comperchio. In 2007 we started a 36 hole event the LJO Invitational. Having fun with these event we decided to add a league which incorporates these two events. We hope to be able to raise some more money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan.
