Open Source Projekt - dlive-midi-tools
This tool is from a and for Allen & Heath dLive fans. I like prepping shows offline. The director software is awesome. But a channel list editor would be very nice. Having this in mind I started to study the midi/tcp document for dlive systems and saw the possibility to write and read names, colors and phantom power. Especially in Multi Console situations for example with FOH, Monitor, Streaming or Recording setups it would be nice to have a list and a tool available that can sync the dlive channels from a single source. The idea for this project was born.
Description:
Python and MIDI/TCP-based tool to prepare channel lists for Allen & Heath dLive & Avantis consoles. Based on a spreadsheet the following parameters can be preconfigured and in very few steps be written to real dLive/Avantis systems or to dLive/Avantis Director via MIDI/TCP. Additionally, from the same spreadsheet, a DAW recording session for Reaper or Tracks Live can be generated.
