BIO
I work with allowing what disrupts us through conflict, contradiction, and challenge to become the source of our new way of being in the world by connecting us to a larger picture beyond our selves.
With groups and individuals, I help listen to the future through the things that shake us up.
I have a background as an educator in conflict resolution, mediation and storytelling and as a writer, editor and worker in communication in its broadest sense. I have worked at tertiary institutions as educator and researcher, and in other corporate and educational settings in roles where communication has been at the heart. My doctoral research was on listening in mediation.
I use frameworks from Theory U practice, transformative mediation, and spiritual psychology. I’m currently exploring courageous vulnerability, radical honesty, and action inspired by heart-thinking.
As I’m going through a name change, my website is currently under construction. You can get in touch with me at tanya.clare@email.org.au.
ARTEFACT: 'Just Wait'
Just wait:
trust what’s unfolding
but do not hesitate
to follow some sweet call
however quiet, underground or low—
listen to what is true within it.
The withered branch can fall away
and leave the tree
upstanding—
one green sentinel,
one listener,
with its arms held wide
to welcome what the world
so longs to hear.
