Y.E.S

Youth Engaged in Service (Y.E.S) is a community service program run by the City of Woburn.

Students in grades 5 are eligible to receive an award if they perform 50 hours of community service by the end of their elementary school years.

The same holds true for middle school and high school years.

Over the course of the school year, Linscott Elementary School students will have opportunities to earn Y.E.S hours.

Elementary school children must complete 50 hours of community service by the end of fifth grade to receive a special award.

Children completing 150 hours of community service during their entire school career will earn a special Y.E.S award and be recognized at their high school graduation.

Parents at the elementary school level are asked to keep track of their children’s hours and submit them to the principal on an annual basis when requested (usually early May).
