Get Involved
Every Little Bit Counts!
Whether it's donating items for the Healthy Snack sale or simply attending a community event, everything you do as Linscott-Rumford parents and guardians helps to build and maintain the strength of our school community.
If you are an adult that is a caregiver of a Linscott-Rumford Elementary School student we welcome you to join and participate in the PTO.
Volunteer
Every positive imprint we make on our children can go a long way; that’s why we look to you, the families, to help make our PTO a success.
Though needs and opportunities change each year, volunteer assistance is always needed. Opportunities to volunteer include:
Helping coordinate classroom activities and organize monthly Healthy Snack Sales as a Room Parent
Building and decorating the Halloween Parade float
Holiday Shop
Donating treats for Staff Appreciation Week
Spelling Bee
Field Day
If you would like to volunteer at an in-person event, you must fill out and submit a CORI form at the front office in advance.
Email jparsons@woburnps.com for CORI-related questions.
Attend a Meeting
All meetings are held in person, unless otherwise noted, in the Linscott-Rumford Elementary School Library located on the 2nd floor of the building. Meetings are held monthly from September-June each school year. Topics may include:

Give
Thanks to your support at our annual fundraising events, each year are able to provide our teachers with an allowance to support their classroom activities in addition to funding field trips and enrichment programs at no cost to our families. The best part — we get to have a bit of fun while doing it!

Bay State Textiles School Box Program
Located at the back of the school, we have a donation bin where you can recycle clothing, shoes, and linens. The School Box program provides information on what textiles are acceptable for recycling/reuse while generating funds for our PTO.
