PTO Questions
The Linscott-Rumford Elementary PTO is organized for the purposes of supporting and enhancing the educational experience of the Linscott-Rumford Elementary School students by: (a.) promoting the welfare of children in home, school and community; (b.) bringing closer the relationship of home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of the child; (c.) provide financial support for programs funded outside of the annual school budget. The PTO is lead by an executive board that consists of the Principal, a teacher representative and the following roles: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Enrichment Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, Cal's Cart Representative, PALS/Room Parents Coordinator.
All are welcome to participate.
Any adult that is a caregiver of a Linscott-Rumford Elementary School student is welcome to join and participate in the PTO.
Meetings are held once a monthly, usually the first Wednesday, from September-June, at 7:00 pm ET. All meetings are held in-person, unless otherwise noted, at the Linscott-Rumford Elementary School Library located on the 2nd floor of the building.
