Parking

At Hollins: No parking pass is necessary. Park in the Visitor Parking Lot next to the library. Campus map is here: https://www.hollins.edu/on-campus/location-and-directions/campus-map/ . The library is No. 41 on the printable map.

At Radford: Visit Parking Services for a visitor parking pass: https://www.radford.edu/content/parking-transportation/home/permits/visitors.html. Then park! Give yourself enough time. If you don't want to worry about the parking pass, there are also four metered spots in the lot behind the library, for up to 2 hours parking, and on-street parking on side streets off of Tyler Avenue with 2- and 4- hour limits. See attached map below.

At Virginia Tech: Parking at VT can be...interesting, so come early. Visitor parking permits are available at the Visitor Center on 965 Prices Fork Road or at the University Police Department in the Maintenance Complex off Southgate Drive all other times. The Visitor Center is open Monday-Friday-7:30 am — 6:00 pm, Saturday-8:30 am — 2:30 pm, and Sunday- 1:00 pm — 5:00 pm. Visitor permits must be signed and dated by an authorized parking services or police official and displayed 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless otherwise noted by a sign.

Your best bet is to try to find something close to the Squires Parking Lot, the Drill Field, or the Perry St. Parking Garage. There is parking on the Drill Field but it fills up quickly. There are small lots at the bottom of the Drill Field that often have some openings. If you are coming from Roanoke, my recommendation is to take the Smart Bus! The stop is right by Newman Library. There is a pdf of the parking map in the attachments section below, and here is the link to parking services at VT - http://www.parking.vt.edu/visitors.asp
