Scott Skees
Scoutmaster
Scott is currently the Committee Chair for Troop 157 and Associate Advisor for Crew 157 at St. Rita Catholic Church in the Iroquois District. Scott has been in scouts for 31 years as a Tiger-Eagle Scout, Pack Committee member, Assistant Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster, Crew Advisor, Iroquois District Commissioner, Program Chair, Boys Scout/Crew Roundtable Commissioner, and Assistant District Chair. He is the recipient of the Buckskin Award, President's Award, District Award of Merit, Unit Leader Award of Merit and a recipient of the Silver Beaver. Scott is Powder Horn trained. He served as the Scoutmaster of NYLT Winter Course in 2018. He is also a Vigil Honor OA member. Scott went through the course in 2014 on LHC-1443 and is looking forward to meeting you this fall.
David Taylor
Assistant Scoutmaster of Program
David is currently a committee member for Troop 1 at Crescent Hill United Methodist Church. David is better known in scouting as Mr. Mustachio. In David’s 32 years in scouting, he has served in many roles: CPR and First Aid Instructor, Assistant Scoutmaster, Den Leader, Asst. Cubmaster, Cubmaster, Troop Committee Chair, Unit Commissioner, and helped start up Troop 8. He is an Eagle Scout, earning the Buckskin Award, Presidents Award, and District Award of Merit. David had the distinct honor and privilege to serve as a NYLT Scoutmaster in 2016 with Colin McGlone serving as the Senior Patrol Leader. David was a participant of the Wood Badge SR-285 in 2000. David has two sons that are Eagles and have served or are serving on NYLT courses.
Amy Zehnder

Amy got involved with Scouting when her oldest son was in First grade and got into scouting as a Tiger Scout back in 2004. Since that time, Amy has served in a variety of roles including Tiger Den Leader, Cubmaster, Committee Chair, and Committee Member. She has also served on a variety of committees within the district and council including Unit Commissioner, University of Scouting Chancellor, Training Committee, Seneca District Dinner Committee Member and Chair, Roundtable Committee, as well as serving on several NYLT Staffs and Wood Badge Staffs. Amy went through Wood Badge as a participant in 2008 on course SR-908. She was also a participant of the Philmont Leadership Challenge in 2014 and served on NAYLE staff at Philmont in 2016. She has received several scouting awards including the Buckskin Award, President’s Award, District Award of Merit and a recipient of the Silver Beaver. She is looking forward to meeting you this Fall on LHC-2055!
Ron Corbett

Ron, a.k.a. Sweetheart, is currently the Charter Organization Representative for Pack, Troop, and Crew 346 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in Louisville, KY; and the Cherokee District Commissioner. Ron has been a Scouter for 16 years and has previously served as Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Troop Committee Chair, Pack Trainer, Pack Advancement Chair, Den Leader, Cherokee District Family FOS Chair, and Cherokee District Pinewood Derby Chair. He is the recipient of the Buckskin Award, President’s Award, District Award of Merit, Unit Leader Award of Merit, and the Silver Beaver. Ron has also received the St. George Emblem from the Catholic Committee on Scouting. He was the Scoutmaster for NYLT Course 1 in 2018 and is a Brotherhood member in the Order of the Arrow. Ron attended Wood Badge in 2006 on course SR-778 and is excited to meet you and the rest of the participants this fall!

Allen has been active in Scouting for 24 years. Allen is CubMaster for Pack 157 and Assistant Scoutmaster and Eagle Coach for Troop 157 and Committee Member for Crew 157 at St. Rita Catholic Church in the Iroquois District. Allen has also served as Tiger cub leader Wolf Den Leader Bear Den Leader and Assistant Scoutmaster for unit 2. Allen has received the tiger cub Den Leader award the Buckskin award and also the President award he went through wood badge course LHC-1341 he served on staff as a Troop Guide for LHC-1647 and as a Senior Troop guide for LHC-1953 he can not wait to see you this fall.

Allen Watts is a Scoutmaster of the boy troop 157 at St. Rita Catholic Church in the Iroquois district. Allen has been scouting for 9 years; serving as a Tiger and Webelos den leader, Assistant Scoutmaster, and Outdoor Committee Chair. He is a recipient of the Buckskin Award, Presidents Award, and the District Award of Merit. He has also served as Assistant Scoutmaster of Physical Arrangements for 2018 NYLT winter course. Allen went through Wood Badge in 2017 on LHC-1749 and is looking forward to seeing you this fall.
Melisa Pope

Venturing Advisor
Melisa is currently the Council VOA Advisor and member of the Council Venturing Committee. She started Scouting with her younger son 13 years ago when he was a Webelos, and has served as Troop Scout Parent Coordinator, Troop Committee Member, Venturing Crew Committee Member, and Venturing Crew Advisor. She has attended both National Jamboree 2017 as Venturing Crew Contingent leader, and served on the medical team at World Scout Jamboree in 2019. Her favorite Scouting adventure was taking a Crew to Out Island Adventure at Sea Base in December 2018, where the youth did Kodiak Challenge during the trek. Melisa attended Wood Badge in 2009, and staffed in 2011 and 2012. She has also staffed NYLT in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Her most recent training was Sea Badge in spring 2019, and she is a champion for bringing Sea Scouts back to our Council.

My name is Terry W Sinnock (aka) Kool-Aid !!! I am 49 years old !!! And have been active in Scouting all My life !! My Mother Barbara J Sinnock (2) Cridder Wood Badge and Father Paul (Butch ) G Sinnock Sr . (Eagle) Cridder and many time Wood Badge Staff ,, I was born into Scouting with my Eagle Scout Brothers Paul G Sinnock Jr & Linville H Sinnock. After Receiving my Eagle 1984 have been active Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop2 since !!! I have received the 2nd highest Heroism Award, I also Volunteer at Waverly Hills Sanatorium. I am also active member of The Keystone Club !!Going back to Gilwell not only for Myself & the Training of the Future leaders (but ) for My Dad !!! He had tried for so many years to get me to Go to Wood Badge Training and after his Death,,, faced my Scouting demons and decided to go !!! Serving on Staff was always his idea for me !! And hope I like always have done my best in Scouting and Personal Life !! Feeling overwhelmed but pushing thru with the Awesome Staff Crew LHC-2055 !! Knowing Dad is watching and proud of Me again knowing I have given him a chance to walk and see thru my eyes going and giving back to Gilwell.

Rebecca Skees is currently the Committee Chair for Pack 157, Committee Member for Troop 157B, Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 157G, and Committee Chair for Crew 157 with St. Rita Catholic Church. Rebecca has been in scouting for 7 years not only working with unit 157, but also assisting with the Iroquois district committee. She is the recipient of the Buckskin Award, President's Award, District Award of Merit, and the Cubscout and Boy Scout training award. Rebecca staffed NYLT Winter Course 2018 and is also a Brotherhood member of the OA. She was a participant on Wood Badge Course LHC-1647 and has staffed Wood Badge courses LHC-1749 and LHC-1953.

My name is Samuel Nwosu and I am currently an Assistant Crew Advisor for Crew 341. I started my Scouting career as a Webelos in Pack 341 and crossed over into Troop 341 where I eventually got my Eagle. While in Scouts, I've had the opportunity to go through and then serve on staff at NYLT. Scouting has been a big part of my life and has given a lot to me. I look forward to giving a lot back.
Thomas Frost

Thomas has been in scouting for the last 15 years, starting as a Bear cub, he has obtained the rank of Eagle Scout in 2014, been bestowed the Vigil honor in the Nguttitehen lodge #205, received a Bronze Venturing award, as well a Ranger award, and has been recognized as the 2015 VFW Scout of the year for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Thomas has attended NYLT in 2011, has been the SPL of a District-wide enhanced ILST course, and staffed NYLT in 2015. He has been a ventuer at fall Wood Badges from 2013-2015, and 2017, and attended Wood Badge in 2016.
Thomas continues to be active in scouting with his home troop as an Assistant Scoutmaster of Equipment, and in the District as the OA Chapter Advisor.

Mark Adams

Mark Adams began his Scouting journey in 2005 when he reluctantly followed his wife’s suggestion that he take his then-6- year-old son to a Cub Scout recruitment event in New Albany. Soon after, he found himself a Tiger parent, followed by a Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Den Leader, Assistant Scoutmaster, and currently serves as Scoutmaster for Troop 4012GT In New Albany, IN.
Mark has been married for 23 years. He and Dawn have 5 children, and one grandchild. His three sons have all earned the Eagle Scout rank, and the older of his daughters is a member of his Scouts BSA troop, while the younger is a Webelos in the Pack. Sharing the Scouting experience with his family, seeing them grow in skills, character, and leadership, has been his favorite part of Scouting.
He attended Wood Badge course LHC-1138 in 2011, and he is a brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow, and in addition to his unit positions has served Lincoln Heritage Council as an instructor for ILST at University of Scouting, a Wood Bade staff member twice, a three-time staff member of National Youth Leadership Training, and he was honored to serve as NYLT Course Director in 2017.
Mark believes the most important point of the Scout Law is “A Scout is Reverent” because if you get that one right, the other eleven will come along naturally.

James is currently the Council Venturing Chairman and a Committee Member for Troop and Crew 4012 in the Lewis & Clark District. James is an Eagle Scout and Explorer GOLD Award Recipient and has been in scouts for 31 years. James has served as a Assistant Scoutmaster, Associate Adviser, Unit Commissioner and Assistant District Commissioner, and has served on the Region Venturing Committee as well National Sub-Committees for Venturing. He is the recipient of the President's Award, District Award of Merit, Council and Area Venturing Leadership Award, and a recipient of the Silver Beaver. James is Powder Horn trained and also served on Powder Horn staff twice. He served as the Scoutmaster of NYLT Course 1 in 2015 and served on Course Director Conference staff for NYLT. My name is Leroy Carter I have been involved in scouting for around 10 years. I have held a few positions in scouting. I am currently a Roundtable Commissioner, Scoutmaster BTroop 233, and merit badge counselor. In the past I have been a Troop Committee Member, Assistant Scoutmaster, and Day Camp Program Director. As a youth I was involved in scouting from Webelos to Life Scout. I was tapped into the OA many moons ago. In my non-scouting experience, I have worked in education for 12 years, served USMC reserves, worked in IT for 5 years, and a few other jobs. I am married to my patient wife Christina for 20 years. We have two Life Scouts Lee and Nathan Carter. I am hoping my boys will continue the Scout tradition with their children. I am looking forward to helping you excel in your scouting journey.
Delisa Shephard

I started my Scouting journey as a young girl attending Scout meetings and outing in Louisiana where my father was the Scoutmaster and my older brother earned his Eagle Scout Rank. I have gone to Philmont Scout Reservation on two separate occasions with my dad’s Troop 41 from Bossier City, Louisiana. I then got involved in Scouting again as an adult when my son Hunter joined the Scouts as a WEBELOS with Pack 341, as a committee member in 2015. In 2017 I became a committee member for Troop and Crew 341 when he crossed over, where his brother (Victor) and my husband (Adrian Shephard) was already involved. In 2017 I became involved in the Iroquois district committee as the WEBELOS to Scouts Transitioning Chair, and then in 2019 I became a Unit Commissioner. In the Spring of 2019 I took Wood Badge where I was able to learn more about the Scouting program and how to become a better leader in our Troop, District and in everyday life. I am also employed at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center and work at the Newburg VA Women’s Clinic location. It has always been a dream of mine to work with veterans and now I am getting to do that. Scouting and our Military I always have and will hold dear to my heart.
Chelsea Hudson

Chelsea is currently a member of unit 157 in the Iroquois District at St. Rita Catholic Church. She helps in all areas of scouting, including Pack, Troop, and Crew. Chelsea has been in scouts for 5 years and has held numerous positions. Chelsea has been a Den Leader and a Pack Committee Chair with Pack 77 in the Cherokee District. She worked on the Cherokee District Committee as Day Camp Director for 2 years. She is now working as the Iroquois Day Camp Director for 2020. Chelsea has received the Buckskin Award and the District Award of Merit. She also served on NYLT staff in 2019. This is her second time on Wood Badge staff, serving last year on LHC-1952. She attended Wood Badge on LHC-1748 and is excited to meet you this fall.
Michael Wright

Mike is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 4012 chartered by New Chapel Fire Department in the Lewis and Clark District, a Unit Commissioner and on the Training and District Programing committees also in the Lewis and Clark District. Mike has been in scouting as an adult for 12 years and 5 years as a youth in Boy Scouts. He started Cub Scout Pack 4014 chartered at his church, St Marks UCC, in downtown New Albany where he served as Cub Master for 6 years; also serving at various times as Wolf, Bear and Webelos Den leader, Pack recruitment, fundraiser and campout planner. He is a recipient of the Buckskin Award and Presidents Award. He also served as the Program Director for the Lewis and Clark District 2019 Fall Cub O Ree, and has been an instructor at the Louisville Scouting University and Commissioner University. Mike went through Wood Badge in 2015 on LHC-1545 and is excited to staff his first Wood Badge this fall.

Hi! My name is Carol Elms. I have been married for 20 years. Blessed with 3 boys ages 29,13, and 11. I have been involved in scouting on and off for the past 15 years. I am very active in my church. I have led the Ladies Bible study for 14 years now and still love it. I am currently the Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 152 in Hardin County. I alsk hold the title of parent coordinator which is a blast. I am looking forward to making a lot of new friends on this course.

Collin has been in scouting for the better part of a decade. He has served on several NYLT courses, including being the SPL in 2016. He went through Wood Badge course LHC-1749, staffed twice since then, and is excited to experience his fourth course.

Matt is currently the Cubmaster for Pack 346 and an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 346 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in Louisville, KY. He is also an active volunteer with the Cherokee District, serving as an event chair for multiple Cub Scout events and as Program Director for day camp. Matt was a scout as a youth (for about 14 years) and happily came back to Scouting when his older son joined as a Tiger in 2011. Matt is the recipient of the Buckskin Award, President’s Award, District Award of Merit, and the Unit Leader Award of Merit. Matt has also received the St. George Emblem from the Catholic Committee on Scouting. Casey has been in scouts for 10 years as a Pack Advancement Chair, Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, and Iroquois District FOS Chair. He is the recipient of the Buckskin Award, President's Award, District Award of Merit, Unit Leader Award of Merit, and a recipient of the Silver Beaver. Casey is Powder Horn trained and also served on Powder Horn staff. He served as the Scoutmaster of NYLT Course 1 in 2017. He is also a Vigil Honor OA member. Clarissa Aliff

Clarissa is currently serving the Lincoln Trail District as the Communication Chair and as Troop 152's Scoutmaster. Clarissa has been involved in the BSA for 15 years and has served in many unit, commissioner, district, and council positions. She is the recipient of the President's Award, District Award of Merit and Silver Beaver. Clarissa has served on many NYLT and Wood Badge courses and was the Scoutmaster for Fall Wood Badge 2016 and Winter NYLT 2017. She is a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow. You can still find her even though she is old helping out at district and council events because we just can't get rid of her.
