Program Details

高中生的大事，升大學榜單陸續出爐，禮藍家長會恭禧所有努力的senior學生和其家人又邁進人生重要的一步。升學話題不斷，我們期許孩子們有個充實而快樂的高中生活，而不被人云亦云的升學問題產生莫名的壓力。禮藍家長會應許多家長的要求，即將針對升九年級到十一年級的高中生於三月廿六日上午十時於學校ITC做一場「教育講座」邀請幾家升學輔導中心以不同的角度，切入升高中的議題。講座將以英文進行，歡迎高中生參加，當天並有抽獎活動，並提供點心。

ACT考試和新制SAT考試的差別？這對於11年級以下的學子又有何種程度的影響？

As of March 2016, College Board has released more and more information about this New SAT, including four practice tests. These tests spell out the changes that had been forecast by the SAT, including: A return to the old 1600 scale, An optional essay, No guessing penalty etc.

What is the difference between SAT and ACT? Which test should I take? What is the change of New SAT? If you have the above question, you must attend this seminar. To know the difference between two tests? Or similarity? Which test is good for you? How to strategic prepare the test, we will provide the answer in the seminar.

The college application is your "face" to admissions offices: they accept or reject applications, not you personally. We invite you to learn more about the two most common system applications--the UC application and the Common Application--and the nuances of each system's application. Our seminar will cover key topics to accentuate the information you present about yourself to colleges: how to strategically word your activities and accomplishments to gain the most impact, how to explain unique circumstances you wish colleges to consider, and how to plan for the distinct essay topics of each application. We will also preview the Coalition Application, a new college application platform launching this summer, with over 90 colleges and universities now endorsing it.
