Desigualdades sociales en salud perinatal: factores y consecuencias (PERIFACT), 2020-2024,  funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

The objective of the project is two-fold: to empirically assess the macro- and individual-level determinants of perinatal health, and to collect prospective data on pregnant women and their babies in order to assess the consequences of an adverse birth outcome.

Work Package 5: Family dynamics and inequalities in children's life chances

The main objetive of this work package is the analysis of the effects of family forms and dynamics on children's short- and long-term welfare. In doing so, it also investigates how families contribute to the intergenerational reproduction of inequality.

The objective of this project is to set up a pilot study that sets the initial steps towards the first (mother-child cohort) longitudinal dataset in Spain collecting information suited to address differences due to social background in a number of relevant outcomes throughout life.
