About the Teacher-
Mrs. Leila Warren



My name is Leila Warren and I have been a High School Science Teacher at Chamblee High School in Chamblee Georgia (near Atlanta) since 2007.

As of the 2025-2026 school year, I will be in my 27th year of teaching.
I  was a part of the team that wrote the Human Anatomy and Physiology curriculum for DeKalb County Schools. 

I received my Bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Missouri-Columbia
(GO TIGERS!!!) and a Minor in Psychology.  

I then went on to get my Masters in Education at Claremont Graduate University in Southern California, where I then taught for 5 years.

I am currently working on my Educational Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Georgia College and State University and have earned a Specialist Degree in the process.
