About the Teacher-
Mrs. Leila Warren

My name is Leila Warren and I have been a High School Science Teacher at Chamblee High School in Chamblee Georgia (near Atlanta) since 2007.

As of the 2023-2024 school year, I will be starting my 25th year of teaching.
I was a part of the team that wrote the Human Anatomy and Physiology curriculum for DeKalb County Schools.

I received my Bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Missouri-Columbia (GO TIGERS!!!) and a Minor in Psychology.

I then went on to get my Masters in Education at Claremont Graduate University in Southern California, where I then taught for 5 years.

I am currently working on my Educational Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Georgia College and State University and have earned a Specialist Degree in the process. All But Dissertation is left!

My family exploring through the years!

I taught for 5 years at Sierra Vista High School in Los Angeles County before I moved to Atlanta with my husband,  Mike (who is a science teacher at North Springs HS in Fulton County).

We have two sons, Logan and Liam.

I love what I do.  I truly feel like teaching is my calling!
I am here to help...students or other teachers...it's all the same to me!
Let me know if I can help!
