1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will seek to sensitize students to the importance of church history in general and Church of God history in particular.
2. GENERAL OBJECTIVES
1. To assist the student in developing an appreciation for church history.
2. To assist the student in developing an appreciation of the Church of God Heritage.
3. To assist the student in developing a proper perspective of church history as it relates to the present as well as the future.

1. Critically examine the beginnings of The Church of God Movement answering the following questions:
a) Do you consider The Movement a Reformation?
b) Was there any real need for a Movement of this kind when the Church began?
c) Is The Church of God still a dynamic Movement today or is it now a comfortable institution?
2. Trace the history of the local church which you attend.
