All seasonal staff members will report to the Executive Coordinator:
The Executive Coordinator is the managerial leader of the production and the production team. The EC is responsible for assembling the production team and keeping that team on task by meeting with and coordinating the efforts of all crews. The EC oversees the management of the budget for the Production. The EC oversees the fulfillment of the job responsibilities of all staff members. The EC works in conjunction with the Treasurer to develop, implement and maintain fiscal management programs for the Production.
DIRECTOR:
The Director is the creative, artistic leader of the production team. The Director is responsible for interpreting the script, auditioning the actors, selecting a cast, blocking and rehearsing the cast, polishing the production, and presenting the artistic creation for an audience. The Director also teaches workshops in acting, improv, and any other production-relevant subjects for students age 5 - 18.
CHOREOGRAPHER:
The Choreographer works under the Director and is responsible for dance auditions, teaching the cast their movement, rehearsing the cast in their dances, polishing the dances, and presenting the artistic creation for an audience. The Choreographer also teaches workshops in dance/movement for students age 5 - 18.
MUSIC DIRECTOR:
The Music Director works under the Director and is responsible for musical auditions, teaching the cast their vocal parts, leading the cast in vocal rehearsal, polishing the songs, and presenting the artistic creation for an audience. Recorded or live accompaniment will be made available to the MD. The MD also teaches workshops in music with students age 5 - 18.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR:
The Technical Director works under the Director and supervises all technical aspects of the production including set design & construction, props, set painting, lights, and sound. The TD will be given a budget to spend on materials. The TD also teaches workshops in stagecraft with students age 5 - 18.
COSTUMER:
The Costumer is responsible for identifying, building, buying, renting, caring for and returning all costumes & accessories needed by the actors in the production. The Costumer will be given a budget to spend on materials. The Costumer also teaches workshops in costuming with students age 5 - 18.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT:
The Production Assistant reports directly to the Executive Coordinator. The PA will be responsible for assisting in group activities for all age groups during the rehearsal process and any tasks assigned by the Executive Coordinator. This could include, schedule creation, small group instruction, assisting the Directors during the run of the program. The PA may be asked to serve as substitute teacher if a Director is unavailable. The PA has no financial oversight responsibilities.
BUSINESS MANAGER:
The Business Manager oversees all financial transactions and money handling during camp including fundraising and more. The BM also serves as Publicist, Program Editor and House Manager for the workshop production and as Administrative Assistant camp overall. As publicist, Business Manager is responsible for planning and executing a publicity campaign to promote the production.
MINIS DIRECTOR:
The Minis Director teaches and supervises the students entering grades K & 1 involved in the theatre camp. Ideal for teachers, parents, or babysitters seeking summer work.
