Serving Lorain County for the past 50 years, LCCPT was established in 1976 to provide children with an opportunity to participate in various aspects of theatre beyond just being a part of the audience. Our mission is to awaken interests in theatre arts in children and the community.
Each summer, we provide a complete theatre experience for up to 60 children in grades K-12 culminating in a fully staged musical performance. Skills are developed in acting, singing, dancing, improvisation, costume design, set design & construction, directing, and more. Camp (rehearsal) dates for 2026 are weekdays starting June 15 through July 10 (excluding June 19) from approximately 8:30 am to 2:30 pm at Elyria High School. Performances will be July 10 (evening) and July 11 (afternoon) at Elyria High's Performing Arts Center.
