Brief bio:

L. Bako received a "diplôme d'ingénieur" from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Poitiers (ENSIP) and a M.S. from Université de Poitiers (France), both in 2005. From May to October 2007, he was a visiting researcher in the Center for Imaging Science at The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA. In 2008, he obtained the Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control and Computer Sciences from Université Lille 1, Sciences et Technologies. From December 2008 to August 2013, he was an assistant professor at Ecole des Mines de Douai. Since September 2013, Dr Bako has joined Ecole Centrale Lyon where he is an associate professor of Automatic Control and Signal Processing in the EEA department. In 2016, he obtained the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches. He is a member of Ampère lab and control@lyon community.

His research interests include : system identification, mathematical optimization, machine learning, control theory.
