Richard Coad's aspiration for Lanhydrock after the fire of 1881 (Private Collection)

The aim of this publication is to encourage an interest in the history of Lanhydrock House and its owners. This will assist with the interpretation of the property and family to all interested parties. The essays presented here are the result of original research undertaken voluntarily. Hence the subjects are presented for the first time and are taken from significant primary source material from the house archives and local collections.
