Upton Farm was owned by the Tristram family. Samuel Barrington Tristram having married Blanche Crofts who inherited from her father.

The son of Frederick W Moore (Barrister and late Lieutenant 53^rd Regiment) and Gertrude Seymour Guscotte born 9^th October 1896

and baptised at St Mary Sompting 12^th January 1897 when the family were living at Upton Farm House.
