Garbage Collection---Collier County has a contract with Waste Management to pick up our trash. Collection for trash is every Thursday & for trash and recyclables on Mondays. Collection dates can vary due to holidays and you should contact Collier County or the Waste Management Corporation if you have questions, but it is a Collier County Law that trash containers can not be put out until after 7PM the evening before pick up (Monday & Thursday). Please advise your renters or guests of this regulation and if you are going to be away, you may wish to ask a neighbor or your house watch personnel to put out or pick up your trash containers. This is especially important when there are community open houses and we are attempting to "showcase" our area.
Gas Grills---are provided for your convenience at the pool and if you are using these grills, please insure that after cleaning the grill, you shut the gas off. Electric or charcoal grills can be used outside of your individual condo unit. Sections NFPA 1:10.11.7 & 1:69.5.3.5 details gas/propane grill usage. Essentially it states: no storage of gas/propane grills on second floor; no cooking on balconies/lanais; only small gas/propane tanks allowed (maximum capacity of 2.7 lbs, not to exceed 5.4 lbs) & if cooking outside, you are to be 10 feet away from your unit. If you have the traditional large tank grill, you can obtain a converter kit (small tank) that meets these regulations; most propane/gas refill companies can help you convert your grill.
Pool---there is no smoking within the common pool area and please adhere to all posted rules and regulations.
Guest Parking Lots--these are provided for your guests and should not be for the permanent long term parking of your own personal vehicle, even if you own a second vehicle and it does not fit in your garage. Contractors who are here to do repairs often park on the road ways causing congestion and visibility problems. You may wish to get to know your neighbors and when they are away, get permission to use their driveway instead of the guest lot.
Pets--while your pets are certainly welcome; renters and guests should not be bringing pets into our community. While Arrowhead does not have any specific regulations that prohibit renters from bringing pets into our community, you should be aware that NLCC rules does not allow renters to bring pets into any of its communities & therefore, if you are renting out your unit, you should be prepared to discuss this requirement with your realty agent or the Club management before your renters are prohibited from using your unit. Any pet outside should be on a leash and it is a health department law that you must pick up after your pet.
