Course Offerings

I offer a variety of in-person course offerings that I tailor to your needs. Some of the options include:
1- to 2-hour lectures. Abstracts for the most-requested lectures are listed as part of the IEEE AESS Distinguished Lecturer program. IEEE also recorded a version of the overview Using AI to Solve EW problems.
Half-day tutorials. I've presented overview tutorials at IEEE MilCom 2021, IEEE RadarConf 2023, and ITEA 2023. I regularly do an Assuring Cognitive EW systems tutorial.
Half- and One-day workshops. I present about 90 minutes of prepared material (the introduction and the brief system walkthrough), and then allow students to pick topics for the rest of the time. This structure is ideal for groups with specific problems of interest.
1- and 2-day courses
3- and 4-day courses that add a hands-on component with python programming, discussion, and a course project. These two courses can start after lunch on day one and end before lunch on the last day. Some organizations do a 3-day class with a broad group, then a day or two of focussed conversations with different groups.
The table below shows a few possible agendas for courses of different lengths. The longer courses have more time for discussion, for example when students have a particular problem or project idea that we discuss in class.
Please reach out to me at karen@haskillconsulting.com and we can discuss your students' backgrounds and your goals for learning so that I can generate a topic list for you.
