About Me

 I am the Curtis L. Carlson Chair and Associate Professor of economics at the University of Minnesota. I am also a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. I completed my PhD in Economics at UCLA. I was born in the US and finished high school in the US, but I grew up abroad in Indonesia and Australia. I studied Economics and Math at UCLA as an undergraduate and I enjoy both watching and playing sports.
